Safety

The safety of your child will always be my top priority. Their physical and emotional health will continually be attended to. Furthermore, I will always communicate any bodily injuries your child may get while in my care (little boo-boos happen!). And I expect parents to always report injuries their child is arriving with, no matter how small. I will also communicate with parents about any emotional challenges their child is experiencing, whether that is having difficulty sharing with others, hurt feelings or missing Mom and Dad.
I am and will remain CPR certified. I also follow the rules and regulations of the Colorado Office of Early Childhood. Honey Bee Home Care is currently a legally licensed exempt facility. This means I will care "for four (4) or fewer children, ages birth to 18 years old, and no more than two (2) of the children are under the age of two (2) years old" (Colorado Office of Early Childhood).
At this time, I will have a ratio of 1:4 and care for children 3 months - 5 years old. If I begin the licensing process, which will allow me to care for a ratio of 1:6, you will be notified. But I am currently enjoying what a small group setting has to offer the little ones I care for!

Pick-up Policy: For safety purposes, if someone else will be picking up your child I require the parents to give the person's full name and contact information. I will ask to see their photo ID. *Childen are not permitted to leave with anyone without the parents notifying me.

I always welcome your input on safety and the wellbeing of your child. After all, we are a team working together to help your child grow and blossom into happy, healthy life long learners!
